Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Bucks County, Police Say

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car in Bucks County Tuesday, authorities said.

The crash happened in the area of Street Road and Newtown Road in Warminster around 6:30 a.m., according to the Warminster Township Police Department.

Street Road is currently closed in both directions and will cause heavy traffic congestion in the area for some time, police said.

Police are asking drivers to seek alternative routes as officers investigate the accident.
